This is the location of the site's forum. A phpBB forum package has been installed thereby giving you the opportunity to exchange news, info and views on the UK's preserved railways network.
One thing needs to be pointed out to any visitor to this site that wishes to use this site's forum. I have noticed with other sites that I run where forums have been set up on them that a high number of members joining do so for the purposes of spamming the forum with links to adult related websites and, on occasion, will make posts advertising adult products. This sort of activity will not be tolerated on this site and action will be taken against any member of the site's forum who engages in these sorts of activities. The phpBB package used on this site has had a MOD added that prevents certain types of spamming but, if anyone is able to circumvent this, spammers on this site will be removed and banned.
Sorry to have to lay out this ground rule from the start but, unfortunately, there is a small number of people out there who seem determined to ruin other people's enjoyment and think they have the right to use other people's sites for their own underhanded purposes.
The forum has only just been set up so there are not many sub-forums at the moment - in fact, there are only 6 currently - but forums will be added on a regular basis that deals with particular aspects of heritage railways and, in the case of the more popular railways, forums will be set up dedicated to a heritage railway in particular.
